Often people will make fun of journalists for many reasons and there is often alot of mateiral to feed the mill.  However people need to remember that  Greg Palkot, Anderson Cooper and Christiane Amanpour are risking their lives to cover what is going on in Egypt.

From the Hollywood Reporter.

On Wednesday, Anderson Cooper was punched in the head 10 times near Tahrir Square.
"It was chaotic," Cooper told The Hollywood Reporter during a brief phone interview from Cairo on Wednesday. "I've been in riots and melees before, but this is the first time that I've been in a situation that escalated to a level where we really had no control. Many people in the crowd came for a fight and that's what they have."
Christiane Amanpour's car also came under attack.
Said U.S. State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley a statement via Twitter, "There is a concerted campaign to intimidate international journalists in Cairo and interfere with their reporting. We condemn such actions."
